KVG_DC
The side to side playing in the music between the halfs is great too

On. A couple of staff from Flanagan high school are involved this year. Hopefully they stay and develop them even more.
shofmon88
As much as I rail against the increasing prominence of guards in DCI, I do love good unison guard work.
KVG_DC
As a side note, I wonder how long it takes him to perfect that curl in his hair and how he manages to not mess it up with the shako.
Jake W.
I would use a recording of that solo to any student ever for a top notch example of lyrical trombone playing. Amazing.
CrownBariDad
Up top watching the Colts timpanist. Lights reflecting off the head makes it look like he's playing into a tub of water. Very complex waveforms. Cool!

Think they just embraced the goofiness of the show too late in the game. Wish it had two more weeks to clean too. Such a fabulous show, well designed, and a breath of uniqueness and fresh air. It was never really much more than a one act show, though. The gag worked and then it got old. And unlike last year's show, there were precious few moments that didn't involve one person interacting with one other person. That's hard to translate on a football field. I hope they stay as well, the change shows!!!! I guess it helps to bring in some of the foremost guard experts in the scholastic side of the activity : )
