c.l.
Haven't done one of these in awhile, too many variables. But oh well, just for fun here's a conservative prediction: 1. BD 2. Crown 3. Bloo 4. SCV 5. Cavies (realistically could be in 3rd on finals night but not earlier, b/c reasons) 6. Cadets 7. Boston 8. Blue Stars (it's an even year, I feel it...may even pass whoever is in 7th) 9. Blue Knights 10. Phantom 11. Madison 12. Colts (gotta make a return one of these days, so why not 2018 ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ -- 13. Crossmen (will probably be higher tbh) 14. Academy 15. Mandarins

I completely agree. Crossmen were amazing in Houston!

And a rock solid Sixth, too. Third in guard. What is the "modern era"? Spirit of Atlanta jumped from 23rd in 1977 to 6th in 1978.

And there aren't "Jim Ott" clones lining up to the leave the Blue Devils to join staff with a corps ranked in the low teens any more. No mystery what happened to Spirit in 78-80. Kevin Mc Hale is not walking thru that door.... Robert Parish is not walking thru that door.... ". ( Paul Pierce, Kevin Garnett, Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo etc much later would, but thats beside the point.. haha!) They still had a 19.8 in Music Analysis. They were 2nd and 3rd in Music GE. Seems that if singing (and any mic issues thereof) doesn't affect scores, then it would be logical to assume there isn't much risk. They were 1st in music at prelims. Dropped to 3rd at the mic problem shows. One judge dropped them to 5th in GE music finals. The difference could have been silver.

Even with perfect scores in GE Music, it would have added 0.6 points to their total score. They were 1.025 behind Vanguard.
20XXMM
These yearly wishlists are hilarious. 1.BD 2.Cavaliers 3.Crown 4.SCV 5.Cadets 6.Bloo 7.Boston 8.Blue Stars 9.Blue Knights 10.Phantom 11.Madison 12.Crossmen
