Last year's uniforms fit so well with their theme. When I first saw photos I didn't like them, but when I saw them live, I loved them. Admittedly, I'm not sure how I feel about this years uniforms.....we'll see when I see them.

This, combined with the activity's preference for theatre over athleticism makes me hope my kids never gain an interest in marching. It's a d*mn shame. Lance
that said, are they supposed to be street kids or something?
queenanne_1536
I'll reserve judgement until I see them on the field. Can't wait to see what they do this year. Didn't think they'd be able to top Oroborus last year, and they definitely did. If they somehow top Babylon they will be unstoppable this year.

You're assuming kids under 20 have the same sensibilities as you do. I don't see this as a deterrent to the marching activity. One could argue that marching uniforms was a deterrent to the activity. I mean, how many times were we ridiculed in High School for the uniforms we wore back in the day. 😉 Edited June 22, 2019 by Jeffe77

My kid spent three seasons there before he went to La Crosse this year. His reaction to the costume photos: “Ummm...yeah. 🙄” His fav uniform was 2016 when they wore the Aussies. This nonsense would stop if WC contracts were required to have a photo of the upcoming uniform. “Congratulations! You’re in the _______!” Performer, looking at design: “Thanks but your unis suck and make me look gender fluid, which I am not. I am a male, and I want my money back.” Unfortunately kids will wear crap to win.
