Judges wandering on field

Honestly it’s not as great as many claim and as said a few posts ago field judges have been able to prevent injuries by retrieving fallen equipment or uniform parts.

Again anyone who has ever watched DCI has found themselves watching percussion judges as they duck and run to escape drill.  The risk is apparent and completely unnecessary.  Again:  Why should any judge put any marcher at risk?

Well guess what: a stick flies away, or headgear.... who can get it now besides the tuba player backing into blindly not knowing its there. Not the kind of get it you want tho.

Why can't the judge go get it?

They aren’t allowed more than 2 yards off the sideline which everyone who ever marched should know automatically per you and others. A rules a rule right?

They don't (can't) often pay attention.

Shows aren't supposed to stop in the middle and then restart several minutes later... But one just did last night.  One example among many extenuating circumstances that occur out of necessity.

I remember a Brady Bunch episode on this... Classic.

Fallacy of privileged information.

The top guys voted on this... and then gave an interview explaining their decision.

Oh there was some glaring silence. Or social media otherwise. But that’s ok. Forced compromise would be a better term

and you know #### well the second a judge goes past yard 2.1 hell will be raised.
