Word on the street is that BK has cooked up a new ending for Atlanta (new music & drill).  I wonder if we’ll see a preview tonight?

Here’s an insta post from BK a few days ago, and I think I recognize what this set is, and it’s not part of their show so far...

Good time for a show evaluation.

DCI.org will tell you.  Look at Schedule tab.  Plug in BK  ... and count.

In total, 25. That’s the fewest of any World Class corps this season.

The Bluecoats have the most at 31.

Some thoughts so far from the show:

Southern Knights: It's cool to see a group from just down the road. They had a screamer up front and he laid down.

Genesis: I really enjoythis show. They utilize the props and cover the field really well. The theme is easily understandable but not preachy.

EDIT: Almost forgot, Genesis had a soprano trombone and a contrabass trombone on the field. That's beyond bada$$.

Jersey Surf: This is a group I've liked on stream but not so much live, simply because the field amplification is so obnoxious. There was a moment at the end of the 1st movement where the amp cut off briefly and it was blatantly obvious how much sound the front speakers added.

Troopers: Surf's field amplification becomes even more obvious with the Troopers following them, a group that uses no field mic'ing that I can tell. I love the Persichetti at the beginning and the Dragonheart during the ballad. Otherwise the design leaves me lukewarm.
