tesmusic
1999 seemed cold. Macy’s 2014 was cold to perform in.
IllianaLancerContra
I remember a parade where the temperature on a bank sign said it was only 87 degrees. Which was pretty cold...
84BDsop
06 DCA prelims....the remnants of Hurricane Ernesto were sweeping through the region...rainy and freezing....worst conditions I've ever performed in. Even the 87 DCA prelims rain was warmer.

We were lucky to get into the tab/announcers room and hung out in the back...when the break came i remember the field percussion judge coming in and saying "#### this", and everyone kinda laughed, but understood. I also remember Gil Silva having some heated conversations on the phone with corps directors...they wanted to kill the alumni show and finish prelims in the morning, which of course would have created drama like you couldn't believe. my wife was ready to head back to the hotel, but my love of historical corps moments begged her to tough it out, and she gave in. but i missed half of the alumni show to go shopping as a result.
