Perhaps the drum majors tested negative for Covid? I’m sure if the organization is taking appropriate precautions, they would not put participants in the Drum Major camps at risk.

Then why not allow parents to get tested prior to dropping something off to their kids?

Additional cost? They are losing appearance fees to keep the corps as a whole safe.

What would it cost Phantom to ask parents to go out somewhere to get a certified PCR test and send proof to the corps?

There may be parents who don’t believe in testing. Big picture here.

Then that’s those parents’ problem. If they want their stupidity to get in the way of dropping something nice off to their kid in the middle of a grueling season, I feel bad for the kid more than anything else for having to be be raised by morons.
 

The corps should still provide the option to parents, however. Especially if they’re still holding camps

Do you know what the corps’ protocol is for these camps? Perhaps that should be investigated before casting aspersions.
