It’s my fav in dci this year, and I don’t say that as a blind Crown fan — it’s just a very smart show that stands out compared to what everyone else is doing. I love that it’s very modern theatrical spin on an inherently traditional bone structure. The percussion scores don’t bother me; I stand by the overall product on the field. You are what your numbers say you are. Admittedly, I am a huge Hannum fan. Crown did him dirty. Travis and Team are doing great with Cadets, Hannum is doing great with Boston. Crown doesn't attract percussion players well. They're trying to fix that. If the prior team couldn't get the job done, then it's time to hire someone new. That's what happened.
