(and Likely throughout the season) It's so utterly dumb. They aren't the only corps have such cliché, intros that make zero sense. Anyone know who writes this stuff? There’s a lot going on, definitely need to see the show several times to digest it all. I am not sure the demand for the guard is top tier writing. "The interplay between organisms..." Sure, it's cliche. I thought the same thing - that introduction could easily be said of most every corps. That said, there's no chance it's going to be used as the intro all year. The announcer was pumping up the hometown corps to the hometown crowd.
