And us Cali fans showed them lots of love for having a kick*** show, and for traveling out west which we always appreciate from corps back east. They stole the show in San Bernardino. Only corps to receive two standing ovations that night. 2019 was an amazing show. I couldn't believe what I saw in Katy. Right after the ballad I had an incredible adrenaline rush. Excellent usage of low brass! I stood up before they even finished... I'm sure I annoyed the Crossmen fan that was behind me, but they possibly also knew who I was and didn't chew me out for it. That show still gives me hope for a Cavies title in the near future. Hey, you never actually know until it happens. Just throwing this out there... I have always enjoyed hornlines from Cavies (yes, even putting my extreme fan self to the side). But I have always enjoyed Phantoms overall hornline package from that time period. At the end of the day, I'm happy that I got to experience one of the best Cavies hornlines. Ugh, I miss hearing that powerful lowbrass!
