kevingamin Posted August 13, 2023 Share Posted August 13, 2023 The big question has been how well Mike Jackson’s and Kevin Shah’s style of percussion and sound arrangement would fit with Crown. Personally, I’m a fan of their writing through Broken City and Blue Knights and I think this is a shot in the arm for the corps, both for the percussion section and the design team as a whole. The brass is their own shot in the arm with that I kind of articulation and technique, what we’ve come to expect on a regular basis from the horn line.
