my .02 cents:

85/86 Suncoast Sound ( 83 was pretty #### fine as well )

88 Velvet Knights

1979 Blue Stars ( I guess I just like this show )

1979 Madison ( put on some headphones and take a good listen..you'll be impressed)

1997 Crossmen ( again, maybe I just dig the show )

1991 Madison ( man for man...our hornline was as good as anyone's that year )

1988 Garfield

1980 Crossmen ( I know people hype over 81..but I thought this line was just as good )

regards,

CM

Suncoast is one of the greatest hornlines. so is Madison

I was talking about the ones you don't hear about but are great nonetheless.

What about 94 Crossmen?

90 bluecoats, without the drumline dragging tempos that hornline kicked butt, and playing Duke Ellington charts wasn't easy, although they made it sound easy

Crossmen 91-94 were some of the most under-rated hornlines that I have ever heard. Great stuff.

Spirit 88... totally new style for the corps but one heck of a sound, especially the low brass.

Magic 96... great show, probably my favorite that they have had yet.

Spirit 03... yeah, I know I'm biased, but that was one #### of a hornline.
