sburstall
Great show. I loved it more than I did Cadet's. To bad Glassmen are 10 years behind the curve in regards to shows like this.

Actually, I thought Glassmen were one of the first to implement certain Star 93isms into their show back in um..........94 or 95.

sburstall
I actually got into a conversation about Glassmen. We all agreed that Glassmen really don't an identity, unless you consider they always seem to be a few years behind the creative curve. By that time the corps that are setting the standards have gone elsewhere.
VanguardDevil2569
Put me down as somone who hated that show. I happened to be on tour that year working support and had the opportunity to see Star over a half a dozen times. I thought the music, although complex, was BORING! They did a lot of modern dance stuff which looked cool, but was it marching? I believe that was the first show written to entertain the judges and not the fans. Nowadays many corps try to out artsy-fartsy each other. What we end up with are shows that are for the most part boring as ####. Paul Yeah, I agree. Star 93 needed some more drum solos, and maybe a break down into "In The Stone". Classical music is stupid and boring, I don't want it on my field. You know, that was in the rewrite for Finals night, but Jim Mason chickened out. :P
