You all know that it was THIS show that was the highest finish for the corps, we tied our nemesis Star of Indiana that year, and it was the first and original "Magical Mystery Tour". There ARE other corps out there besides BD, SCV, and Garfield!! :-) OK...I know it'll never happen, but I just wanted to throw that out. Besides 87 VK, I'll be voting probably for 1980 Spirit and 1987 SCV. Close runner ups will be 1987 Garfield (the disappearing and reappearing company front is what makes THAT show worthy), 1988 Madison (pure drum corps), 1983, 1984, 1985, 1986 and 1988 Suncoast Sound (because these were some of the best corps performances ever--I'll pretend 1987 was just some kind of creative hiccup), 1982 Blue Devils, 1986 Madison (GREAT opener), and 1989 SCV (because I don't care what anyone says, that WAS better than 1988's version.)
