It was a lot of fun. In 76/77, I wrote "Oye Como Va" for the band I taught. In 77, I wrote "Theme from Baretta" for the King's Regiment (were the Monarchs pre-merger), using bells and xylo. Bluewater Buccaneers did the drum intro from Legend of the One Eyed Sailor that people on the streets seemed to like a lot.
