Shady
Actually, despite my vocal support of the Scouts all season, I thought Bluecoats had them tonight. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Is the drill still dirty for the Coats? I saw them for a second time in Massilon and I thought for sure they would pass the Scouts.

Cardman
Yeah, I agree. The new ending is not very effective. The have some nice drill there, but they need to let loose, and blow the house down...
Dr Beat
No! It was more like a hit... add more fast music/drill... end with long hit that wasn't effective AT ALL. It was almost like the ending was created as an afterthought. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Because each ending HAS been an afterthought. I liked the BIG Madison-like ending in June. Donuts overlapping donuts. Not the Cavalier-like Cesario-induced quiet endings they keep trying to fluff-out with. Let the boys PLAY like Madison Scouts! See you Saturday night. SpectDrummer06
Hey everyone, just a heads up, I saw Madison in Indi while they were rehearsing and found out that they have about four thousand endings to that show. Let's just wait and see what we see saturday

dmfootworks
Is the drill still dirty for the Coats? I saw them for a second time in Massilon and I thought for sure they would pass the Scouts. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> Scouts had dirt but Bluecoats were dirtier. Bluecoats' guard was more crisp. I didn't mind the Madison ending and I'm not sure how much it matters in the scoring. The question is, how do you put an exciting ending on Carmen? Scouts might be working hard, too, to avoid self-parody.
Galen
Is it the soft ending again? Wouldn't that be the third time they have put it in this season? <{POST_SNAPBACK}> No, this is a version where the marching members do their best to run over each other in about 5 or 6 sets of drill, then resolve with a chord that leaves you thinking "meh"

I think the new ending drill is very effective...now Saturday night they simply need to push the pedal to the metal and BLOW THE HOUSE DOWN! The crowd WILL respond and I think the judges will too. MikeD
But jeez guys, get an ending already!(Maybe put the previous one back in...not the silent one, but the one with the cool circle morphing into the company front...that was better than this one.) <{POST_SNAPBACK}> How about morphing the circle into a fleur de lis? :) I was actually hoping they'd do that at A'town...and half way expected it.
