Bond624
Just this past weekend I was talking with some people from our legion post and it was brought up that Danny Devito Marched in a drum corps back in his youth. Working on getting the corps name.

HomeGrownB'men
Clem Burke, drummer for Blondie, marched with the St. Andrew's Bridgemen back in the late 60's. And as of last week, he and the rest of the band are in the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame! Sooo Coooooooool!!!!
CozyChopsCom
Curt Gowdy, ABC sports announcer who recently died, marched corps. He also was a guest announcer for a DCI Championships. Steve Gadd, yes, did march Rochester Crusaders. When I interviewed Vince Bruni, Mr. B told me he put Gadd in the snare line as a short 12 y-o. What a kit man Gadd is!!! When I interviewed Alan Chez, Garfield, he did not mention his real name. Wayne Bergeron is the trumpeter on the theme music for Jeopardy, America's Funniest Home Videos, Futurama, etc. He's played with Maynard, Tito Puente, Quincy Jones, etc. He plays most years for the Oscars. I believe he was in Anaheim Kingsmen. Cozy

I always love hearing the Final Jeapordy theme as played by trumpet because the tone is soooooo characteristic of what that instrument should sound like.
