tommytimp
I wonder what's behind door number two? - Monty Hall I hope it's a bouquet and a note for PBS saying "Please forgive us. Can we come back now?"
rut-roh
I hope it's a bouquet and a note for PBS saying "Please forgive us. Can we come back now?" Why? So they could show the exact same show on PBS and air it at different times and different dates (and in some places not at all) all across the country? kevingamin
I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that we will be seeing a Part 2 of sorts from the Cadets.Maybe exploring the world inside the door? Perhaps a Through the Looking Glass/Alice in Wonderland theme? Of course, I may just be drinking too much. :) Keep your ears open for the next edition of Box Center (yes, there will be a next edition). It will include a phone interview with George Hopkins. It's possible that Geoff might be correct...
MikeN
I must say ... the clips from the Pollack soundtrack on amazon.com are pretty darn cool. I may just have to acquire the CD. Sounds like great drum corps source material. You should - it's a great score. Kind of quirky, in a Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, Six Feet Under) sort of way, but very entertaining. Bleu Raeder
Door Number Three By: jimmy buffett, steve goodman 1974 Oh I took a wrong turn, it was the right turn My turn to have me a ball Boys at the shop told me just where to stop If I wanted to play for it all I didn’t know I’d find her on daytime tv My whole world lies waiting behind door number three I chose my apparel, I wore a beer barrel And they rolled me to the very first row I held a big sign that said, kiss me I’m a baker And monty I sure need the dough Then I grabbed that sucker by the throat until he called on me ’cause my whole world lies waiting behind door number three And I don’t want what jay’s got on his table Or the box carol merrill points to on the floor No I’ll hold out just as long as I am able Or until I can unlock that lucky door Well, she’s no big deal to most folk But she’s everything to me ’cause my whole world lies waiting behind door number three Oh monty, monty, monty, I am walkin’ down your hall Got beat, lost my seat, but I’m not a man to crawl Though I didn’t get rich, you son of a ##### I’ll be back just wait and see ’cause my whole world lies waiting behind door number three Yes my whole world lies waiting behind door number three
troopmello
Have you ever met George Hopkins daughter? Or was that a joke? I haven't met her, but it's just what I heard from a member who works with a guy on the guard staff. I can't give any promises and I really don't want to be one of the rumor guys, it's just what I heard. Either way, I'm sure the Cadets will put out an amazing and unique product. Here's to 06. BennyASU
Id personally love to see the Cadets do a sequel to last year's show. The only part of the show i didnt care for was the drum-speak, and the rest of the show was so freakin awesome that i dont even think about it. There isnt a mvmt. of the show that doesnt get stuck in my head on a regular basis, and False Mirrors is one of my favorite closers in recent memory. If they can continue the story line and bring out more awesome music im all for it!
