I'm going to go out on a limb and predict that we will be seeing a Part 2 of sorts from the Cadets.

Maybe exploring the world inside the door? Perhaps a Through the Looking Glass/Alice in Wonderland theme?

Of course, I may just be drinking too much. :)

Keep your ears open for the next edition of Box Center (yes, there will be a next edition). It will include a phone interview with George Hopkins. It's possible that Geoff might be correct...

I must say ... the clips from the Pollack soundtrack on amazon.com are pretty darn cool. I may just have to acquire the CD. Sounds like great drum corps source material.

You should - it's a great score. Kind of quirky, in a Thomas Newman (American Beauty, Finding Nemo, Six Feet Under) sort of way, but very entertaining.

Have you ever met George Hopkins daughter? Or was that a joke?

I haven't met her, but it's just what I heard from a member who works with a guy on the guard staff. I can't give any promises and I really don't want to be one of the rumor guys, it's just what I heard.

Either way, I'm sure the Cadets will put out an amazing and unique product.

Id personally love to see the Cadets do a sequel to last year's show. The only part of the show i didnt care for was the drum-speak, and the rest of the show was so freakin awesome that i dont even think about it. There isnt a mvmt. of the show that doesnt get stuck in my head on a regular basis, and False Mirrors is one of my favorite closers in recent memory. If they can continue the story line and bring out more awesome music im all for it!
