Here's the quick and dirty how to: find a pic...let's say this one: and right click on it. Look at "properties" (all the way at the bottom of your tab) and copy that http address you see. note: replace the ( ) below you see in img with [ ]...I can't post it with the "tags" like that. Go into your signature option (or your DCP post) and type (img) then paste the http: from the picture you just found....then "close" the picture coding it with the (/img) command. Although he is the very best announcer I've ever heard (including myself), he's shown a little microphone bias over the years: when Cavies won the first time in '92, he SCREEEEAMED their name after announcing their score (he's usually more subdued). Then, in '02, he made it a point to announce them "undefeated" winners and dragged out that 99.15 score.He never mentioned '04 BD or '00 Cadets being undefeated... nor did he dramatically announce Cadets' 99.15 last year (a much bigger score jump for them than was for Cavies). I have studied media bias and looked at drum corps, as well. These might be slight stretches, but believe me, I've seen more subtle things. Regardless of any alliance he may have, he's still the best. I was just wondering why he's favored them a bit more. i think you're stretching. listen to his calls on the ties. and the record score...come on, it was a record. part of an announcers job is to infuse some energy in their call and spice things up. I've heard him put emphasis on every corps over the years. My God, in 92, I got chills when he extended the beginning of "Crossmen". My guess is, that as he watches over the course of a year, he sees the fan favorites, and adds a little oomph come finals week. But if this guy had axes to grind, or favorites that showed, DCI's leadership would catch it, and he'd be gone. you wants bias, check out some of the home town team announcers out there. the stretch is far from slight. it's huge.
