let's see, in 1989 alone, Westshore was from Harrisburg, Hershey, Carlisle, Mechanicsburg, State College, from the west shore of PA and we were also once called the West Whoresmen :P

The true way to say Caballeros is cabayeros. Double "L's" act as y's in spanish words.

Oh, the many times I've heard the Bleu Raeders and Metairie, LA mangled by announcers, especially Metairie. But Brandt Crocker got it right!

While working in the Wahington D.C. area one of my roomates (a very proud Cajun) was from .....

MET-TREE. I believe this is correct. B)

JR. Corps:

During my first 2 years teaching Teal Sound, we never had the drum major position set before DCI needed the write-up...so we would just make up a drum major's name. Whoever we got was then got was stuck with that name all year.
