green101
I've haven't been around for too long, so I don't anything about the "old school" breaks. One of my absolute favorites, which I don't believe anyone has mentioned, is The Cadets 2003. I love the cowbell part in the snareline. Also, I'm not sure what year it is, but I love the BD drum break where they bring out the cymbal rack onto the field.
walder
ha! another lover of the Bridgemen!!! :P I'll try to get you added onto our mailing list!! :P oh, you misunderstand me...i particularly fond of the bridgemen and love their concept and miss their concept being present in today's arena...i have never really seen what all the hype about DeLucia was and quite honestly, everyone knows what Float has done for this activity and his lines at Spirit were no exception. thePerfectbuzz
im not really familiar enough with old school shows, but as far as modern i got a lot of nominees: 2000 Cadets- coolest tenor feature! 2003 Vanguard- most ADD BASS drumline off all time!!! well at least the book they got to play! B) 2003 Cadets- a very squeaky clean line 2003 Crossmen- their last solid drumline with a very cool and extensive drum break....actually they had quite a bit of percussion features that year...Crown should bank on Lee Beddis! 2004 Vanguard- like whoa! 2005 Cadets- i actually liked the drum speak...it keeps growing on me 2005 Cavies- the whole closer was fricken cool 2005 Vanguard- still had the same mojo to me, would never knew they lost most of their percussion staff 2005 Bluecoats- they didnt really have an extensive percussion break, but their drum book def had some phat beats and grooves 2006 Blue Devils- the whole opening gun fight scene was wicked 2006 Cadets- had some sweet solo sections plus a very groovin jam out...cool visuals with bodies in the air too ^OO^ 2006 Magic- didnt have too much of an extensive drum break either, but was def a notably solid battery that they havent seen since Colin left and i thought was very underrated Edited December 22, 2006 by thePerfectbuzz
