DCA Finals 11th/12th place corps recordings

So let's see, Sky got a lower score than Carolina Gold got in PRELIMS, and Sayre is complaining that he actually had the HONOR of performing for the finals crowd?

GIMME A BREAAAAAAK.

Chris,

You want to re-read that - Sky had a HIGHER score in Prelims!

Sky did the "judged exhibition" in 2003.

What a crock.

so did Hurcs.

what i'm just don't get is the "what a crock" part?

wasn't it better than sitting down Sunday night like Sky's done for the 2 years following that??

Many corps scores went down at finals that year. I know that Cru did for sure.

I guess I dont get the "what a crock" bit either.

Hey Goalieguy,

I just went and checked my records and MBI are on BOTH the 1986 and 1987 albums....1986 corps is on Vol #3 and 1987 is on Vol #1...

Pgh Guy Bari 2

Extraordinaire

Freind of SlyCooley1

PADCHOF

John G

1977 had "DCA West" for 11th and 12th. Both MBI and Chicago Connection made the album and that just had people buzzing about all that Senior Corps "way out there".

Just looked at srcorps and interesting how the same corps keep showing up in 11th or 12th during the 70s.

"Repeat visitors" include

Pittsburgh Rockets

Westshoremen (aka Westshoremen Bonnie Scots)

MBI

Guelph Royalaires

Erie Thunderbirds

and that's just a quick look....

Donny, I'm thinkin that Sayre would have liked it better if it wasn't a judged exhibition, rather just part of the regular finals show like everyone else.

Hey Sayre, doesn't performing on finals night beat the heck out of going to Dorney Park?

Ask him about his 2002 experience Chris.
