93Bluecoat
Hey, I'm not kidding about this....EVERYONE needs to try to make it to the Blue B Que every year. It's the annual alumni mixer with the corps and this year it's at Allentown on Aug. 3. If you have the time available, clear your schedule and get out there. We will be doing this every year (as long as the calendar permits it...which it didn't last summer) and its a great event for the corps and alumni. ekleve
Dude, I know, I suck! I teach school and am off for the summer, so if there's one thing I have, it's time.Drop me an e-mail and we'll get together. Well, I'm staying in NY for the summer doing my DCA thing, but I will undoubtedly see you in Massillon!
ekleve
"A beer"? I know you better than that. ^0^ Hey now, that's not fair. I'm perfectly capable of only having one beer (provided it's in a five gallon tank)!!! ^0^
Tony Flores
I am really diggin' this show by the Bluecoats. I think that if they clean the drill and make changes as the critique warrants it, they can make top 3 or top 4. I think that they are ahead in creativity and in total package over Phantom (and I am a huge phantom fan). I just hope they dont peak early as the Crossmen did in 2002. Bluecontra93
Went to the show tonight..........Here are some thoughts: Ensemble was really cool. The rehearsal intensity is top notch. The members are maxing out every minute of rehearsal time. (Significantly different than when most of us marched!) The new equipment truck is sweet!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Graeter's Ice Cream on the way to the show was awesome. Got to spend some time w/ Lou and Lisa selling souvies. The Show: From a design standpoint, this is probably the best vehicle that the Bluecoats have ever had. Clearing up some transition issues and some visual issues will make significant gains in the upcoming weeks. Driving two hours in the fog on the way home made me think I was on tour. I can't wait till Indy. If your at Indy, Fairfield, Dublin, Battle Creek, or Centreville, look me up. I'll be selling the finest in Bluecoats apparel. bartyount
Potatoes, salt, LARD!My Aunt Jean ruled all Western PA shows. Oh, man - was that *your* aunt? I thought it was 89's. My bad. Just thought of another funny memory from 93 - remember me you and Casey trapping Faith underneath the hockey goal we found at one of our housing sights? I got a picture of it somewhere. I'll have to see if I can find it and post it. :)
DNgo
I haven't gotten to see the 'Coats yet this year, but I am always pulling for them. We have had a few former students march with the Bluecoats and I am always impressed with their performances and their care for the kids. Matt_S
I'll definitely be in Battle Creek, it's now just a question of how many I'll be bringing with me. Two Bluecoats' shows in a week's time, with Indy the Saturday before!
