We enjoyed their performance and all the others we saw too. It was a great night. Nice to see him for the first time in weeks too. Buddy of mine was at the show, we just got off the phone. He said that Crown was really good, but he would be surprised if they beat BAC tonight. Said that BAC was very good tonight, but in the long run he thinks Crown's show has more potential, at least from his first read tonight. He also said that Crown ran out of gas at the end of their "very difficult" show. He didn't stay for the scores, so I guess he was right. He also said that Phantom was "the loudest modern era (Bb) drum corps he has ever heard" This is a guy that goes to San Antonio every year, Finals most, and averages 5-8 shows a year, so I trust his judgement. Not bad for the first score of the year, and congrats to BAC as well. It's really shaping up to be a great summer... lots of corps in the mix!
