So what ever happened to that amp petition?

Recommended Posts

That anti amp petition really was time well spent.

Really paid off, huh

Right, because clearly, voicing your opinion is bad.

Democracy is clearly over-rated, don't you think? Differences of opinion are evil!

Um...there wasn't another time OR place to fight that battle...

It was happening right then and there!

What better time to do it??

I don't think anyone TRULY thought the petition was going to amount to much in terms of changing DCI's mind.

It was just a way for some of us to make our voices heard.

I fail to see why thats bad is all.

Never said it was bad. But who actally heard them? Was there ever a formal reply from DCI, a Corps director, somebody with some influence? etc?

I'm gonna leave this open as it seems to be generating some valid discussion.

No. Of course not.

Its just not good business or political sense to recognize or respond to a group that is campaigning against something you implemented if you're trying to be a bit discret about it.. Giving a formal response brings more attention to the issue. DCI just wanted to bring it in sort of under the radar.
