Dot books or Charts?

Recommended Posts

I've seen some groups use a notebook that has a photocopy of each drill set so members can mark their individual placement on the field, as well as mark their movement to the next set, and some groups that basically just use a list of co-ordinates (no set pictures), sometimes a small notepad (dot book)to make changes in.

What do most corps use, and what do you guys prefer?

Our members were given a coordinate sheet and had to make a dot book. I don't really see how having a picture of each set would help members.

it helps alot when cleaning if you know the shape/set , I know corps that the dot book cotains the coordinate of the member and also a 3x4 picture of the pyware chart it's pretty neat

I hate dots. I want to see how the whole form works and goes form place to place. A simple listing of dots does not allow me to do that.
