On the list given, the best is Mo' Better Blues.

But Blues Brothers is definitely better than that.

and my favorite is The Legend of 1900 though, just cause the story is weird and makes no sense, but still manages to hit you hard emotionally.

Yeah, the British humor is good, but the cockney accents made me turn on the subtitles...

High honors to "Glenn Miller" story and "Hollands Opus". Funny story about Opus: in the theather a bunch of music/corps/band teachers went to see the movie together. When Mr. Holland is at the piano with the cute redhead one of the teachers shouts "don't do it" (refering to kissing her), kinda funny but also creepy as all the guys started laughing in that "I know how he feels" kind of way.

During the whole "Rowena" segment I just cover my eyes, I can't stand to watch what almost happens!

Not ashamed to admit that I cry EVERY time I see Mr. Holland's Opus. :)
