The excuse of "kids don't go to other corps" isn't a good one. You also let more into a top corps that indeed would have been in a second flight group. Let's work on filling non-finalists first. bawker Posted January 4, 2007 Share Posted January 4, 2007 Yes.More members = louder drum corps. ...which equals taking 15 people away from every smaller corps out there to fill the ranks of the top 12 to 15 corps that could even get 150 total. This leads to less people in smaller units; less people to jump ship from Div II/III to a Div I program and less people to effectively "grow" the activity.
