prodigal bari Posted February 3, 2007 Share Posted February 3, 2007 Back in 2003, there was a new corps - I think it was Eklipse from Kentucky - that used Sousaphones in the first show or two of the year because they did not have contras available. I think they got a dispensation from DCI because of that fact. There was also another corps (Memphis, I think) that had to march one for one contest; and got a fairly steep penalty for usage of unauthorized musical instrument.
