J.C.
The loudest and longest I have ever heard, and I'm sorry to reflect on something so sad, was for the 2005 Kilties. Both re-entering and exiting the field. Well deserved! I'd say that was our most emotional performance ever. But the biggest crowd response I've ever seen was 1997 DCM Finals in DeKalb. Most babies ever thrown at us. :)
LisaLisaMoMeesa
Was it 2004 or 2005 that the Renegades got 7 standing ovations during their show? I can't uhmember.

fish66
69 dream gets my vote.........the crowd was into it that day, they drowned out some music!! for all corps!
drumlaw80
Two of the loudest crowd reactions I can remember from any year of DCA happened in 2003, when Renegades penalty was announced (The Loudest Boo on Earth), and in 2004 when the corps got 6 standing ovations in one show. Disclaimer: Living out West, and teaching another corps, I rarely get to see other DCA corps perform. The other day, I was trying to figure out the last time I had actually seen the Bushwackers perform ... I think it was 1983 ... when I was in high school, marching in the Bucs!! (true story ... not a slam). Edited May 3, 2007 by drumlaw80

NYSkyliner
1963 Dream. The New York Skyliner exit of "Little Ole New York". As the corps is exiting the field, Tommy Martin finishes his triple tonguing solo. All you can hear after his solo is the next 8 notes and that's it. On the record (tape, CD or anything else that you might record that performance on) you cannot hear the rest of the exit. Sheer mayhem. After retreat as they were passing in review the stands emptied onto the field just to touch any member of the Corps. Cabs won the show, the New York Skyliners won the crowd. Interesting sidebar. While the Skyliners were in their locker room under the stands, Father Wojo came in escorted by a couple of Jersey City's finest with their hands on their pistols wanting to arrest members of the Corps for (get a load of this, and it's true), "Inciting people to riot". Luckily Jim Salimone, a gold shield (that's a detective to you laypeople) from Brooklyn was a member of the Corps and was able to intercede. TenorsForWorldDomination
Pretty well every single one of Grenadiers drum solos got people on their feet cheering.
Tom D'Bomb
So, who do you think had the loudest crowd reaction in Senior Corps History? Some that come to mind would be some of those old Skyliners shows of the 60's 2001 Brigs 2004 Statesmen I'm biased towards another show, but I won't say which one :P Who do you think? 96 Empire ... but all time: 1976 Bridgemen (the first mass faint, I think)
