asifindnoarta
I know, I know... this is probably a topic that's seen many threads before and been done many times... but hey, I'm bored at work so just for fun here's my list in order 1 being the best. Ten Best Shows 1) Star '93 2) Cadets '98 3) Star '91 4) Cadets '93 5) Cadets '05 6) Blue Devils '03 7) Cavaliers '02 8) Blue Devils '00 9) Cadets '99 10) Blue Devils '97 Madison, PR, and SCV fans are gonna kill me for this list I bet haha, and yeah... you can tell I have a strong bias for the Cadets but I swear I really am trying to offer my opinion of the best shows ever rather than my personal favorites. If this were a favorite list it would look a lot different. You can also tell that I'm a sucker for fast drill and velocity. Each of these shows features a corps than can really move.... and yeah, I guess I'm a little concetied having put my own show up there and all in the 5 spot... but hey you can't deny that's its pretty decent... door or no door Anyway what's your top ten list? dccorpsfan
1.) 1984 Garfield Cadets (The perfect show) 2.) 1989 Santa Clara Vanguard (The other perfect show) 3.) 1979 Blue Devils (Smooth as butter from beginning to end) 4.) 1974 Madison Scouts (A beautiful prelude to a championship) 5.) 1980 27th Lancers (I still say this should have won) 6.) 2003 Phantom Regiment (Pure passion and emotion. Phantom owns Canon in D) 7.) 1975 Madison Scouts (The Madison sound at its finest) 8.) 1987 Garfield Cadets (The show embodies everything that is right and good about the Cadets) 9.) 2003 Blue Devils (Brubeck + BD= 11) 10.) 1992 Santa Calara Vanguard (The show that got me into drum corps. If it weren't for the sloppy drill and stiff competition, this would have been a top 5 show, easy) HM: 1992 Blue Devils (WHEN A MAN LOVES A WOMAN!), 1989 Phantom Regiment (Classic Phantom), 1975 27th Lancers (Regal, but fun), 1976 Cavaliers (LOUD, LOUD LOUD!), 1992 Velvet Knights (VK's crowning achivement), 2002 Cavaliers (Not as loud as I like it, but it had kick butt drill and a great percussion book)
