So I thought it might be interesting to hear some opinions from DCP'ers on what would actually constitute SCV being "back". I'll start with a couple points: FINALS PLACEMENT - Finish in the Top 3 BEAT YOUR RIVAL - Beat (or at least tie) BD's in number of victories in head-to-head shows (aka...Own the left coast) CAPTION AWARDS - Take at least one of the major Captions Finals night(Brass, Percussion or Guard) BE THE BUZZ - Have the show that everyone's talking about and wants to see (General Effect WOW factor) What say you? PeeWee Posted June 17, 2007 Share Posted June 17, 2007 For me, as an alum, "being back" means being in the hunt for the title. Up until 1990 (save 1980), SCV was always in the Top 3 of DCI.
