elphaba01 Posted April 29, 2012 Posted April 29, 2012 St. Catherine's Queensmen :-) "St Catherine's Queensmen": Me too. They were and still are one of my all time faves. Sadly, they didn't take FEMALES:( I would have ended up in their all-girls corps the Marionettes..... Elphaba WWW 1 Quote
Navillus WP Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 60's: Lt. Norman Prince Princemen, Chicago Royal Airs and Majestic Knights of Charlestown 70's: Anaheim Kingsmen, and Argonne Rebels, Yankee Rebels 80's: early Blue Devils, Connecticut Hurricanes ........ then I lost interest in what drum corps had become. DAvery Posted April 30, 2012 Posted April 30, 2012 I went to a Kiltie camp in 75 and the drumline was full. They gave me a flag. I didn't go back. I marched Marion Cadets for the last three weeks of the 76 season. I audtioned for Spirit in 79 and was too old, only having one year left to march. So I ended up at the Cavies, to which I am grateful. Things have a way or working out. Quote
Mucs75 Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 Too old but would have loved to have marched Garfield 84. Love that show Quote
BRASSO Posted February 22, 2013 Posted February 22, 2013 (edited) The US Marines Drum & Bugle Corps. What a gig. Given a choice of doing something I like for free, or getting paid to do it, I'd take the latter over the former. Edited February 22, 2013 by BRASSO Quote
elmhurstmusiced Posted February 23, 2013 Posted February 23, 2013 I marched Madison, but would have loved to march with VK or Suncoast. Quote
