Before you know it, they'll allow woodwinds too, and this activity will be just like marching band!!!" The person who said it marched in the Chicago Royal Airs in the 60's. (I wonder if this person has been to I&E lately??) One of SCV's guard members breifly twirled a baton that year during "Festive Overture." Quote

It was an 18th-century French inspired show. The men were in tights.* Lady 1 (behind me): Who's this? Lady 2 (behind me): Fahrenheit World. They're doing some kind of French show. Lady 1: What are [the guys] wearing? They need to cover that! Lady 2: It looks like they have a 10-pound sack of potatoes in those pants. Me: *chuckles* From the Atlanta show this summer... Bando 1 (discussing last year): The Cavaliers were great last year. Bando 2: Yeah, but they weren't as good as Blue Devils. Bando 1: Well, I think Carolina Crown should have won. They were ******* awesome! Bando: Triple Crown was great! But BD was pretty good. Quote
