I have a question about the Fan Network. Before the FN when you were a subscriber, you were able to listen to the audio files before you purchased them. Is there a way to do this on the FN? Thanks

with denver and pasadena being the biggest ones in those years. . . finals should be out near the west coast more often :)

I agree with AzEuph. . . I don't think they will lose their ability to get members. And nobody ever said that because Academy is in Arizona that members in Arizona have to march Academy did they? I don't think anybody did. . But I have a feeling with how the organization is growing that more Arizona students will want to join. From everything that I have seen/heard about The Academy there is a lot of great stuff going on. How could someone not want to be a part of a great organization that is growing? Especially with how young it is right now. They will be able to look back on it 10, 20, 30. . how every many years down the road and say. . . I helped build that. . How many students out there today marching will actually be able to say that how ever many years from now? Not very many. . . So I hope all the members who are marching with The Academy right now, realize where they are marching is somewhere truly special. Take advantage of being able to create the name and the legacy which all the current marching members of many other corps just walked into, since it was already made for them. I enjoyed watching and listening to their show this season. And as low as they might have placed I think they had a great show and will be even better next year. . . They keep growing every year and I can't wait to see their full potential in the next few years! Great Job Academy! Thank you for an entertaining show!

I don't think there is another thread that talks about ALL the corps who are taking time off. If there is, sorry and please close this then. But does anybody know exactly what those corps who are taking a few days off are doing? Cleaning, making changes. . .? Does anybody have any updates on them by chance? I can't wait to see all the corps back on the road again!

Tom, I've been waiting for your post. . . and it finally came. . . You seem to always have an open mind in your posts and thats what I like about reading your posts. . .

do people not realize that their show isn't even completed yet. . . do you not read reviews of people when they say that guard work isn't done, and they don't have uniforms. . . *edit* and I just looked at percussion scores and they are higher than pc. . so I think in the WEEKS that are left in the season things will come together even more for them. . .

it's interesting seeing all the different opinions from people on the shows. . . this makes me want to see these shows come the end of the season and how they turn out

lets wait till they have a completed show on the field till we give our opinion of what they should do. . . the season has just started and people are already doubting them. .

mapex put out some pretty good looking drums for The Academy!!

I just watched both corps shows on the fan network. I liked them both. I think Academy will be improving greatly over the season, and as people were saying. . won't really peak early. One thing I noticed was I don't think Academy's pit was mic'd. Could this be a contributing factor to some of the percussion/music scores? I look forward to seeing both corps shows later on in the season!

well yah its the first 2 shows of the year. . . you cant' really say much now since there is still so much time left. . But how long have these corps had their full shows on the field for?

i went on the fan network to try to watch VK's show from Walnut, and its not on there, but BDB is. . . how come none of the other corps are. . Kinda bummed, I really wanted to see VK's show. .

yah seriously. . . but best of luck to The Academy this weekend though, can't wait to see what they put out there for everyone! From the reviews people have had, it seems like some good stuff!! (best of luck to PC as well!)
