People liked the Cadets again. As a matter of fact they got numerous standing ovations all season

Cadets 8.5 (good performers, rediculous demand, very entertaining) Crown 7 (good performers, decent demand, not as entertaining as some previous years, but still entertaining) Devils 6 (very good performers, demand?, very boring)

The Blue Devils design team was definately thinking of the fans when they created their show this year. They didn't give the fans any reason to stand up and block the people sitting behind them...very thoughful

Anyone that enjoys the Crossmen and appreciates the fact that they still exist should appreciate those responsible for their continued existence. So the answer to your question is yes, Hop will be rembered in 10 years as one that helped keep the Crossmen in existence. But hey, go ahead and be angry and bitter and ignore reality. Congrats Hop, well deserved, keep up the good work!

It's nice to see that at least one corps isn't afraid to show their respect for the Cadets organization. As a Cadets fan, I would like to say thank you to the Cavalier organization for your display of respect to the Cadets. The Cavaliers have a great corps this year and should end up battling with Cadets for 1st or 2nd place. Best of luck Cavies!

You are correct the Cadets drumline is not playing the amount of notes that we were used to with Tom Aungst in charge. Colin has a different writing style than Tom Aungst. The demand in Cadets 2009 drumline is not from the amount of notes, rather it is more from an ensemble perspective. As an ensemble, the Cadets percussion section has no shortage of demand and the book is extremely musical with many nuances.

Thrilled but not suprised to see Cadets make a move. They are a very talented corps with a great product. It's just a matter of time before their hard work starts to pay dividends. Congrats Cadets! Keep pushing hard...I know you will!

I have not followed this entire thread, however, I do feel you have asked some questions that need to be asked. I do find it rather curious that a corps the caliber of the Cadets fell further behind Crown last evening. Cadets were coming off of a big stretch of intense rehearsal days. It seems odd that any corps could make significant improvement with the conditions Crown was dealing with recently.

Looks like the slotting is happening early this year. Crown has a very good corps but it really makes one wonder how they could possibly pull their highest score of the season given the conditions they have been under with the sick members. Maybe Cadets should back off the intense practice schedule since it is not helping their slotting. Oh I'm sorry, I meant to say scores not slotting

I'm not not going to get into the argument regarding the demand in Blue Devils show, however, I will say their 2009 show does not appeal to me at all. Doesn't strike me as a championship caliber show in any way. Please no flames, just my opinion!

This season Crown is up against a very, very good Cadets guard almost every night. That is hurting them...great to see Cadets guard at such a high level again by the way

Hard to say at this point who will win it all. I can say with absolute certainty though that the Cadets are going to be a handful down the stretch. They definately have the "It" factor this year and the staff is making all the right moves and adjustments. The Cadets will amaze many before this season is over!

Who said Crown was the leader? Beating the Cadets makes Crown the leader? Crown is beating the Cadets because they are cleaner. The Cadets have a rediculous amount of demand and as they clean they will move quickly.
