Just wondering if everybody waits to have a contract in hand to begin looking for sponsors for the next season?

Scores are all relative... Duh. So if Corps 1 has an awesome colorguard, but has a few mistakes, give them a score that reflects that. Giving them a perfect score doesn't make sense at all if they are not perfect, no matter what the corps before them scored. If scores for some corps at finals aren't that high, it will make sense because it will all be relative to the other corps performances.

Who would be "the good judges"? I know some judges are not liked very much because of odd scores. Which ones would be favorable for which corps?

Cinemark 18 in Webster, TX. I hope the theater crowd isn't dead this year for all the corps below 5th place like last year.

My vote is to Brad Furlano/Howard Weinstein with the Blue Stars. Amazing things have happened this year with this corps.

I find most of these characters bearable, except the singer/moaner(and the rabbit). I could not stand her at all. I actually like this years show with Lil' Jeffery.

I am so excited for next weekend. So many excellent corps with wonderful shows! I only wish I could afford to make it to Indy. Quarters in theaters, semi big screen party at a friends house, and dcp, blue stars forum, twitter updates and another forum that I know of that never goes down due to too many people on at once for finals. Go all corps!

I don't believe the "home field advantage" really applies in DCI. I didn't see any of the championships live. But I do know that Phantoms show connected with the audience. I saw the theater broadcast of quarters and the entire theater went mad when Phantom finished performing. All the other corps received applause and a couple of "woots", but not nearly the same as Phantom. I don't think the hysteria was limited to Midwest fans, since I'm in Texas.

I saw a woman wearing pants once and I thought the same thing. How can she be so absurd to actually wear something so revealing and so unaccepted in society? It just isn't normal. She must be trying to turn all of the dainty women into men. What will happen to this nation? Oh wait... Reason for edit: Grammar issue

My best friend just finished his junior year of high school and is marching with the Cavaliers this summer.

Bump I've only seen the show a few times, so I didn't have time to really decipher the show. How do you think the show is coming along now? Is the meaning still as confusing as people found it at the beginning of the season?

I really enjoy watching the Cavaliers this year. I'm blown away each time I watch them perform.

Blue Stars ballad is beautiful. One of the best I've ever had the chance to see live. It gives me goosebumps.

Question about tomorrow: If I don't have a ticket for the show yet, will it cost me to get into the Live Learning event at the Berry Center? I can't find much information anywhere. Also, will the Cavaliers rehearsal be open until the Live Learning event? My best friend is going to be there, and his family and myself plan to go and watch. Any help is appreciated!

Looks like it could follow the same way Ike did. Head up I-45 again. I'm in Dickinson, so the eye of Ike went right over us. My fingers are crossed that this one doesn't do the same thing! I'm gonna buy my tickets at the gate. Anyone know if they will be selling both nights tickets tonight? I plan to head up early tomorrow to watch my best friend perform at the stadium, but it says the event is only free with the event ticket.

I'm hoping to march next year. I've got a few corps that I am already looking into. My main concern right now is money. About how much should I expect to pay for corps dues? About how much will the entire season cost me, including winter camps, tour fees and free day allowances? I am trying to work my budget sheet out to include a new apartment, out of state tuition and marching dci. Any help is appreciated!

I really like the Blue Stars opening statement. I find myself whistling it all the time And I also really enjoy the first 30-45 seconds of bd's show.
