That opening drill reminds me of 1972 "Off the line" The opening rifle work reminds me of 1973 (All the single spins) The opening cadence reminds of a 1974 "Legend of the one eyed Sailor" Oh almost missed the huge gates from 1975 (and for the next few years until they got replaced by the swirls)

Agree with 1980 Spirit as the loudest show, but I got to hear '79 Spirit play the Sweet Georgia Brown fanfare at a standstill even louder than that with Jim Conducting! (and the following mellophone quartet on rotor-pistons is still one of the most amazing things to listen to.)

VANGUARD! Yes it is dirty, at times it's filthy dirty, but considering the musical repertoire is mediocre at best, the drill creates high and low impacts to what could be a musically mundane show!
