  1. I said in another thread it was a BLUE year for me: Bluecoats--just love them every year and this year theyTILTed it all --not since 2008 has a finals night been so great for the audience IMO Blue Devils--Such control in every aspect Blue Knights--the music was great Blue Stars--the show really grew on me and loved it all by saturday Crown--so wanted them to maintain their place after last year--but by the end the music had me in tears Cavaliers--loved seeing them get a hold of their style again with strength
  2. This was said in another thread by "Packetsleeve" but is worth repeating SILVER is the NEW BLOOOOOO!!
  3. Just for the record the show is Felliniesque--not an homage to Fellini films--they capture the spirit of felllini indeed and i loved the show from start to finish CONGRATULATIONS
  4. Congratulations Bluecoats--it was amazing to be a part of the crowd this year--great show and the crowd always loves when someone they love moves up on the last night--so suspenseful--loved all the corps this year as well
  5. So amazing to see them these past three nights--they are a great corps and this was an amazing show from start to finish--when the crowd knew they got 2nd--the place went wild--was glad to be a part if it Congratulations Bluecoats!!
  6. I had 9 friends with me a Massilon and all chose Phantom as their favorite show --after Bluecoats of course!! great sound and strong show for all of us--after Bluecoats of course :-)
  7. thanks drumcorpsfeverfor posting the picture (i somehow can't figure out how to do it) And there was a lot of Orange at Massilon and the most BLOOOOing i have heard all season--when the Bluecoats were getting ready to take the field and they shouted their BLOO off field--the crowd responded to them with a very long and loud Blooo--i just imagine that had to hype up the Bluecoats as thy got ready for the show. i have always heard their shout before a show but never a crowd response and re-bloo to them-- a great little moment. The souvie was packed with people as well here's to seeing a lot of orange and hearing a lot of Blooo in Indy
  8. Bluecoats have to travel about 4 hours to Indy
  9. A Blue year for me: Bluecoats--thrilling EVERY time i see it (7 times live so far) Blue Devils--It has grown more powerful each time (4 times live) Blue Knights --The music is what moves me (not so much the narration) --only just saw it at Allentown BLUE is the color i love this year
  10. they are calling for an ORANGE OUT check out how they changed their logo on their facebook page
  11. thanks for this i always look forward to seeing it--
  12. Bluecoats get higher in a few more captions and get closer to Cadets if not passing them. Blue Devils maintain their dominance--i think Crown will rise a little..Boston will not get closer to Cavaliers (nor they to Crown) should be great!
  13. Could someone say what happens in the new ending?? would love to hear
  14. awesome that bluecoats are staying strong no talk of sinking now
  15. top three threads right now all about Bluecoats--keep going tonight!!
  16. I am always excited to read about Bluecoats. Amazing that this thread is here--last year the thread about Bluecoats was why they did not have that much of a following and why few talked about them--now there are three threads going on and on. I am a big supporter and fan of the Bluecoats and wish them the best--regardless of placement--they have people talking about them--and TILT will definitely be on a lot of people's lists of favortite shows. Go BLOOO
  17. I love waking up and checking the scores to find Bluecoats did amazingly last night__way to go Bluecoats--keep building that momentum; i love the show and it looks like the Bluecoats love it too. Tilt to the top
  18. I completely agree, especially this year. Blue Devils and Cadets have few wow moments--the Bluecoats--mainly theirs come from their sound in the ballad, the pitch bend, and the jumps, Cavaliers move slower as well, Phantom's drill for me is not that clear, and I haven't seen SCV yet. I feel there is lots of slow deliberate marching but not much energetic moves this year.
  19. When do they have a show again? I can't see them competing in the next two days --is that correct?
  20. Any word on new ending for Bluecoats' show? are they planning on eliminating the jumps? I hope not. I have seen the show several times live now, and always think they are hinting at the pitch bend in the beginning of the show--the first time being in the beginning as they line up vertically then tilt to the 45 degree lines they use often-anyone else notice this slight minor chord which to me sounds like what will become full blown pitch bend at the end?
  21. I agree with this--i think BD's sound is stellar, but much of the drill for me is very slow moving--would love one of those slow deliberate moments to come after sme high powered fast moving--but they rarely reach any speed in most of their drill
  22. Have the Bluecoats added anything/changed anything since their show in Dekalb (the last one i saw live)? or has their improvement come from cleaning up what they have already? Just curious
