Just back from the show. Just a few thoughts IMO:Once again note: IMO: The fans sure didn't like madison's score--and I fully agree with the fans( lots of booos!) Madison made a major push tonight and didn't get the reward that was due. They should have easily passed Academy who shouldn't have beaten Blue Stars or Spirit. Colts where incredible, the best i have ever seen them--Go Colts! It's awesome to see them back in the Game. The spread between Colts and Boston was way to Big. Crown was awesome and should have been much closer to Phantom if not have beaten them. Cavies where AWESOME and there score was at least a point too low, if not more. There is going to be an awesome ending to this season. Remember...we all have opinions...now be nice!

It would be awesome to see a American Legion Post sponsoring a Corps again. Maybe there is hope for the Activity to grow. Best of luck getting it all together.

The system has been flawed for quite sometime. It would be extremely beneficial for it to be refined. The system where everyone competed equally was the fairest system. In regards to touring, a system can be developed and requirements built. Division 1,2,3 needs to be eliminated. DCI ( and it's Board) needs to wake up and look at what they have done.

the organization needs to step up and inform everyone as to what is going on. they seem to be the only corps, as of right now, that has had changes or issues that has not informed the members or drum corps public as to the status of the organization. i agree with a previous poster that they are not looking very professional or organized. i truly hope that this corps can correct all that has happened.

The Colts Postcards---when they actually where all there. I love the colts but this really didn't work.

As a vet of 1982 i wish the corps the best in there move to Texas. Hopefully all will work out well. it will be nice to see them eventually be on there own again. To the Vets--do all you can to march!!! All the best to the new management--keep the traditions!!!

I must Congratulate the Blue Stars and there staff for the professionalism displayed at the Boston Crusaders home show i attended this past week. (sorry for the delay in writing--i was on vacation there) I know corps are very busy when they are preparing to go on the field, and sometimes do not stop for the pledge of allegiance,yet i witnessed a CLASS ACT when not only the entire corps stopped, but the entire staff and helpers!! it was quite a sight to see! Keep it up Blue Stars--you truly are an amazing story being written right in front of our eyes!!!

they have the most difficult show by far and are executing it amazingly. (with just enough left to clean) they have all the elements to take the championship. from brass to guard to percussion and the most amazing visual package of 2006! truly a championship show!!! GO CAVIES!!!!!

i voted other. my pleasant surprise was the blue stars. it has been quite a rise for them from div3 to 2 and now to 1. it is very hard to not just reach div. 1 lately, but to do it correctly. it seems as if the blue stars have the formula. i congratulate all members and staff of the organization. keep it going...it's great to see you back in division 1!

BK is absolutely awesome this year!!! i saw them in mesa,az and said then that they had a "top 6 " show. it all comes down to who can make there show happen better then the others. keep it going BK!

what an awesome article. wish it was longer. it is great to hear from someone who has witnessed the change of the activity from the outside looking in. his VIEW seems to at least mirror my take on this activity. please note i said "my take" not everyones.
