Why are the Cadets, Academy, and the Cavaliers in T

When DCI lists corps alphabetically the put these corps under T. I always thought you didn't count the word "the" when alphabetizing. I know a small thing, but I have always wondered.

Ya, everyone's pretty much right. It's the legal entity name.

On a related note, in the years before 2007, the original announcing required that the legal entity be the name used in the announcement. There's a lot of reasons behind it, but check out any show from any year. It will always be "Blue Devils may take the field for competition" and "THE Cavaliers may take the field for competition." (that's the only part that it was required. The rest is "The" or not depending how the announcer felt about it.)

Wasn't it The Holy Cadets or The Cadets of Bergen County. That could be why The is in the Cadets name.
