dukecornwell
Geez, yeah. I guess that tablet had all the things we COULD do on it. Things like:11) you may pick your friends, and you may pick your noses, but you may not pick your friends nose. Stuff like that huh. Hey Mike, don't I recall you picking my nose in '69 at New Haven? Or maybe it was Hamden.
G-horns
Yes, it was when we were already on the field and Bob gets flustered when things get hectic. We always got that warning from DCA to keep the show on schedule and I think we always have, at least with Rebels. We (Rebels) were always just a warm-up, fill-in act anyway although we always got a great reception from the audience. Robbie, Don't sell Rebels short. Over the years every corps in that show has something to contribute. As most of us know, drum corps didn't start in 1972. Toronto Signal's parade performance brings back memories of a time before "drill" as even you and I know it from the 60's and 70's. Anyone that attends the DCA Alumni Spectacular is getting a lesson in drum corps history.
NYSkyliner
Hey Mike, don't I recall you picking my nose in '69 at New Haven? Or maybe it was Hamden. Yup! It was Hamden, the Fresh Air Fanfare, Hurcs show. Genero once told me it looked like I had my right index finger up your left nostril to the second knuckle. Hey, how many of those 12 (18? don't forget the 3rd tablet) Commandments did we break throughout the years anyways. Actually, Mike, there are only TEN commandments (as evidenced by the movie of the same name), not the twelve you cited above. Next thing, you'll be telling us that there are 57 states. What are we to do with you??????
NanciD
If you *know* who it is.... please wait a while (not everyone is on here all day or even daily for that matter) If there have been no Guesses..........Then give a *challenging* hint. When giving hints on these try to be creative and just dangle the tiniest tidbit. Make people really think / work on it. Then wait it out a while before tossing another tiny vague tidbit... C'mon we've got to make these last a little longer. PLEASE?? For a little more insight on the workings of this thread check out pg. 790 post #7894. Also, any comments made MUST be made in good taste... this is a fun loving thread... not a revenge match. Please spew your venom elsewhere. Please submit any questions and / or pics in their full size (preferably JPG format), with full description - names, Corps, Stadium, Year... etc. to: The *Guess Who* Mailbox Thanx in advance! All that said and out of the way... Guess Who the Drum Judge is? Guess the Year? Guess the Corps ? #

Guess the Corps ? # 317 This one should be easy as the charecteristic tongue sticking out to put a tick on the sheet was a trademark of this judge. The year was 1968. ajlisko
Guess Who the Drum Judge is? Guess the Year? Guess the Corps ? # 317 Couple of hints: he started his drum corps career in Bridgeport, CT with the St. Ann's Loyalaires as a tenor drummer ... had a BIG nickname ... was a player, arranger, instructor and judge ... was a staple at any drum corps gathering in the 60's and 70's in the NY metro area ... :-)
HornsUp
Guess the Corps ? # 317 This corps could keep a drum judge busy, but didn't give the bugle guy much opportunity to mark ticks.
