sniper282000
After being blown away by Crown's 08 show, it really got me thinking how Finis stacks up with some of the other legendary 4th place shows before it. The shows i listed are based on my opinion. Have at it!!!!!!!!

They had a very loud brass line, that's about it.
GMichael1230
1981 27th Lancers, there is no comparison, and sadly no reference visually, only a mediocre DCI Midwest performance. Finals night was amazing. Geoffrey

BlueShades152
I never was a big fan of 1995 Madison Scouts (I'm pretty sure I'm one of the few lol)....but the first two that come to mind is 2000 SCV and 2003 PR.

27/soa
Crown 08 is by no means a legendary show. Have Drum Corps fans become that dummed down? They had a very loud brass line, that's about it. Yes. We're all dumb. As dumb as thinking a statement from a fan who liked one show means he is labeling it LEGENDARY for the masses. I liked the show, too. It's a little more than a loud brass line. I've heard from many people that the "sound" of the current hornline is one of their all time faves. The guard doesn't stink either. Kinda liked some visuals, too. I seriously don't get why compliments for Crown elicit so much vitriol. Is it the "less than 30 years in existence" thing? They didn't come on the scene with tons of $$$ and the best of everything. There's been a lengthy and sometimes bumpy ride, with a slow progression forward. Why can't a compliment by one go by without inspiring venom by another?
