Michael Boo
What were your favorite DCI guard flags? What made them so? Why do you remember them and what did you think when you first saw them? Was it the colors, the way they showed up under the lights, the patterns, the way they worked with the show theme? Photos would help the rest of us relate if you've got them. skewerz
'82 Crossmen, I think...I'm sure if I'm wrong, someone will correct me... the really big long silver ones they used at the beginning of the show...dramatic statement to go along with their brass/silver horns. Daave
These... Old School. Because the BB's say so.
2000Cadet
Cadets 1998 Canturbury Chorale flags. I loved them because they fit well with the piece, and the guard did well with them.

MidTN Mello
1993 Star of Indiana closer, simple red flags... the way they just strike with the impacts and how it simulates the fury is awesome.

Beat me to it My other favorite is 2008 Bluecoats flags in the opener. The 2-sided effect just screams visual GE, and really adds to the impacts. contrajedi8
I liked the horse-head flags from 06 BD. Also enjoyed the "every year" flags from 03 Madison.
84BDsop
I kinda liked the Garfield flags from the early-mid 80s....the one that looked like an arrow....looked like it was telling the girls ("pin it in THIS direction!"
bawker
Tie: 93 Star closer and 95 Madison closer red flags . . for obvious reasons.
