kevingamin
ehh never been impressed by a BK show yet Of the recent resurgence into Top 12 status, I've really enjoyed 2004 and 2007. I also enjoyed their interpretation of Cloudburst last year, much darker than SCV's rendition.
bawker
Winter – Antonio VivaldiGlide – Newbury, Ausdemore Landslide – Stevie Nicks Tarantella - Ethel Coronation from “Stardust”- Eshkeri "Landslide". Cool. Alhough the "inspired by" there could mean some over-arranging is possible. Hopefully not, it's a simple tune that would work well for a ballad. Well, it's definitely something different from BK.
Lance
Excellent rep. I'm looking forward to this show as much as any other show this year. Thank goodness for BK. One man's boring is another's welcome breath of fresh air.
chaos001
unlike SOME people, i enjoy BK. i'm guilty of being a Stevie Nicks/Fleetwood Mac fan (yes, i've even seen them in concert), so Landslide is an awesome choice for me. the Stardust piece is pretty awesome too. i think there were some postings or a thread earlier this year about using the music from that movie on the field. i think it could work really well in the right arranger's hand. it's definitely brass-centric and full of energy. should be a very cool show! Ahh, would that be the movie based on the Neil Gaiman book? I LOVED that movie. Another reason to look forward to the 2009 BK.
