general_tsos_chicken2
accidently posted this on reviews forum....oops I don't know if this is the same for everybody but for me their are certain moments in some shows that are iconic and sort of define theat season, they are THE MOMENT OF THE SEASON. for example 02: Cavaliers fight club 03: When PR hit the canon reprise 04: ??? not sure about that one 05: Cadets hit the asterisk with LOUD CHORD just before the ending of their show 06: PR end of Ave Maria 07: for me it's the PR running hornline playing firebird 08: Death PR conductor ...(seems like phantom is good at having THAT MOMENT in their shows) what do ya'll think will be 09's defining moment? or how about other years? Seems like it may be Vanguards company front!

Dr.Mickey
2000 Cadets "one-upping" each other just before the end - Snare solo, guard, snare line, quints (or whatever) behind the back, horn line playing each other's horns - leading right into the end of the show. Nation of Bass
For '91 I would have to say it is the cross-to-cross moment in Star's show. That is just an amazing feat that was accomplished and it really got me interested in drum corps. For '89 it could be argued that the "real" beginning of SCV's show with the blaring brass during the opener is the moment of the season, but it could also be argued that the ending of the show is just as defining, if not more. FTNK
I know it's not "on the field," but the score announcement for 2nd and 1st place was the defining moment of 2008.
