NR_Ohiobando
So when corps get new threads, what happens to all the old stuff? Do they sell the fabric as scrap? Do they keep it locked in a basement somewhere? I'd prefer if someone with corps staff/uniform experience chimed in.
GGarrett
After the 1982 season, the Scout's gave their uniforms from that year to the members. We already had to purchase the spats, Belt, necktie, and I think even the gauntlets and cords that year, anyway. The age outs always got to keep their hat. But we sure aren't talking the kind of uniform that today costs $$$$ each.

The members of Carolina Crown get to keep their plume, sash, and crown-shaped mirror pin. I think Crown sells the actual uniforms.
84BDsop
Sometimes they might sell them en masse. Wasn't it Lake Erie Regiment that bought Bluecoats old unis after 88??

FTNK
Cadets turned their 2003-2006 uniforms into pillows that they sold as souvenirs.
84BDsop
BD sold their inventory off following 87 (remember the 88-89 black jackets?) I was fortunately enough to buy one that (WAY back then) still fit.
Tez
go away for alumni performance some time hopefully Modern drum corps uniforms are so form fitting, I'm not sure that would work anymore, without some major alterations (if you know what I mean).
