FrankA
Ohh Phantom, where art thou drill? Lordy, musically they are top 6, visually not so much. Dirty Dirty show. They re-wrote 60 pages of drill last week.
garfield
No kidding- that's one thing I always like about Cadets is the way they take the field. Simple, traditional, and commanding your attention from the moment you see them.I remember last year on finals night when Vanguard was performing- near the end of their show, everybody around me suddenly started looking to the right, just in time to see Cadets start marching down the hill in their block. What a moment that was!
Guardguy89
My only problem - is that the show doesn't connect emotionally - it's like I really don't care about the main characters and what happens to them. The underlying problem is that The Red Violin just isn't knwo enough to give us a pre-existing attachement to it - and yeah - the slap was a bit lame Musically though - they are wonderful to listen to! Watch & Listen
Looks to be the size of a viola to me! They should consider changing the title of their show!!! Thank God it's not The Red Cello!

supersop
With regards to the audio issues on High Cam ... from tech support: supersop: much more direct sound now (on multi cam) supersop: the audio on the feed is FAR better than the high cam Rep: Well, I can tell you that it's the same feed... there is only one difference. Rep: High cam = 48k stereo, Multi = 64kbps stereo Rep: They're both WMA supersop: interesting Rep: The multi is a ~800k feed Rep: ~500 for the high cam supersop: high cam I hear individuals all over the place. And just lost most of the sound except for who was directly in front of hte mics supersop: I see. I guess I'll stick with the multi Rep: But the audio goes in as a pair to a distributing amp Rep: then the same feed goes to the encoder Rep: anyhow, I'll monitor more closely. supersop: it's strange that there is such a hole in the sound .. and an imbalance to the pit. Rep: Welcome to the wacky world of codecs Rep: It may be dealing with joint-side stereo differently Rep: Sure thing supersop: I get that feeling on both feeds. There isn't much stereo going on. During Academy's show .. there was a major cancellation from side to side. I heard a big wah wah wah wah on a park and blow .. and it was wacked ever since. Rep: I'm still going to check on the mix. Have fun with that techies!

mobrien
From Annapolis to now, I gotta say that I'm impressed with how Boston has started selling this show.
