oldsnare
Wait, both of those instruments work fine as actual instruments, and are completely allowed in the pit. Why are they using synth rather than actual glock and vibes? I noticed as many as 3 synths in the pit - are we going to see 5 or 6 synths in the future and no more keyboard instruments? Sideways
BD's opener, the entire thing just oozes GE. The way they can seem so casual but still maintain that swagger (and make your ears bleed).
behold888
One thing I really like is the across the board excellence of ALL the corps. Maybe because I'm farther out of my age out now (by a ripe 2 years) I'm starting to see the sheer emotion that all the kids put into it. It's beautiful! Triple Forte
As the title says, shot 'n' sweet. For me, Blue Knights mixing their dark, stern, stentorian sound with an accessible show concept that really works for them. I have a feeling I'll be going back to this again and again on DVD. I have a handful.....but one that I keep thinking of is.... The Bluecoats ballad.... Kevin Meadows
The gradual return of Promise of Living at the end of Crown's show. Gave me goose bumps the first time I heard it. Agree. Totally caught me off guard and then just tied the whole show together. I loved it.
