Or, last year's champions in a dogfight for 7th place with two other corps?Maybe not in terms of the winner this year, but there is less and less differences between 8th and 2nd than there was even 3 years ago. And... that's not even talking about the level of all the semifinal corps. A corps like Spirit this year would have made finals 3 years ago and been in the top 10 not much farther back. Not even close? I don't quite agree.. In any 5-year period since the mid 1980's only 6-7 different corps made the top 5 in DCI. That is not "parity". Name one sport that is similar. KeepOnFoodTruckin Posted August 8, 2009 Share Posted August 8, 2009 With no bias to any corps I've cooked for or loved in the past, I have to admit, SCV gave me goosebumps at the theater last night and I just LOVE this show. And I cannot tell you how many times I've heard Appalacian Spring over the years of band and corps I've sat through and enjoyed during my FMM's tenure in band and DCI but this one gives me the goosebumps.
